19th celebrations. It's the first day of june like write me a second to put all of that together. It's kind of crazy to think that it's here. But I mean that's kind of summer. Not officially, but mostly we'll lump it in in the weather world june july august. Yeah, that's summertime. So yeah, it's gonna be a warmer and summer like by the weekend And today is not bad. Yeah, the weekend looks incredible. 80s and sunshine. That's what you want only hit you. But we're gonna have to get through some rain first. So as we take a look at the forecast today, 77° despite cloudy skies. So not bad at all expected to stay dry through the day, but after the sun goes down tonight, the rain chances start to pick up and as we head into tomorrow reopening day, expect steady rain through the morning and thunder and lightning as we get into the afternoon. So unfortunately tomorrow is a weather impact day today though. Get outside if you can nine a.m. 62 noon we're at 70 and then mid upper seventies through the afternoon and evening despite those clouds, it'll be warmer today than it was through the long holiday weekend. But our game changer is right here. It's an area of low pressure that currently is moving up into portions of Arkansas. This is going to be our Wednesday and thursday system, rolling right up the Ohio river and headed towards Cincinnati. So as we take a look at the future cast here, you can see today it's just the clouds. It'll be a very comfortable day, Great day for outdoor dining or taking a walk as we get into the evening hours. You know it says clouds are pretty thick but I don't think we see even a spotty shower until eight or nine o'clock maybe in southeastern indiana. And it's closer to midnight that you really start to see that rain picking up tomorrow morning no matter what time you head out, check it out here. Future cash showing. Just study soaking rain for us through the first half of the day. A lot of people have a half day holiday for the reds reopening day know that as we head toward the one shower in the start of the game, it's gonna still be soaking wet with the potential as we get into the afternoon. So there will be some breaks in the action. There's also the possibility that these are thunderstorms for the second half of the day. Can't rule out an isolated, maybe stronger storm tomorrow in the afternoon or evening hours. And then you can see thursday's kind of the same setup, a steadier rain in the morning, some scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and then generally fading away as the sun goes down on thursday night For today, 77 turning cloudy, staying very comfortable. And then you can see the seven day forecast tomorrow, expect rain and thunderstorms through the day. It's generally rain through about noon and then we throw the thunderstorms potentially in the mix temperatures topping out around 70 that rain continues into Thursday. So as you look at the two day rainfall total, most towns could end up somewhere between one and two inches of rain over that 48 hour period will dry out thursday evening and very quickly those skies clear out and our temperatures jump back into the eighties in a hurry for the weekend Randi.
