Yankees announce minor-league deal for former Reds pitcher Sal Romano

Pitcher Sal Romano, designated for assignment by the Reds earlier this month after he pitched in 83 games over five big-league seasons in Cincinnati, was signed by the New York Yankees to a minor-league deal and assigned to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
