FC Cincinnati on Friday announced the second of its four picks from the 2021 MLS SuperDraft was headed out on loan.
Defender Avionne Flanagan, 22, who primarily plays at left back, will play out the 2021 season with Orange County SC of the second-division USL Championship.
FC Cincinnati can terminate the loan at any time.

Flanagan was going to be hard-pressed to earn minutes in league matches as FC Cincinnati built up its defense throughout preseason and up to present day.
The club has Ronald Matarrita and Edgar Castillo as the first and second options at left back, respectively.

FC Cincinnati's also added depth at left-center back, where Tom Pettersson and Gustavo Vallecilla play, and more depth could be coming to the back line.
Flanagan was the No. 29 overall selection in the SuperDraft this past winter. He played three full season at South Florida, where he made 48 career appearances and was named to the American Athletic Conference First Team in 2019.
