Ohio State Buckeyes tight end Jake Hausmann, a former Moeller High School standout, is signing with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent, according to multiple reports via Twitter.
Social media reactions:
Hausmann graduated with his degree in strategic communications, per ohiostatebuckeyes.com. He played in 30 games for OSU with three receptions for 26 yards and one touchdown.
In 2017, Hausmann - then a redshirt freshman - slapped hands with junior receiver and OSU teammate C.J. Saunders as the players passed each other running routes during a win against UNLV.
