A 4-year-old girl has died days after an alleged assault — apparently punched and choked more than a week ago. Nahla Miller, 4, has died of an apparent homicide, officials with the Hamilton County Coroner's Office said Thursday. The Springfield Township girl died Wednesday at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where she had been hospitalized since April 13, the coroner states.According to court documents, Tianna Robinson, 25, was initially charged with felonious assault in connection to the 4-year-old's beating. Documents state that Robinson punched the 4-year-old child, before "strangling her till she stopped breathing."It happened at a home in the 1600 block of Hudepohl Lane, officials said.A second person, identified as Rensley Washington, 25, has also been charged in connection to the case. Washington faces charges of endangering children and obstructing justice. According to court documents, Washington observed "prolonged physical abuse, resulting in serious harm" of the 4-year-old child "resulting to serious physical harm in addition to malnutrition."It's unclear if Miller and Washington will face additional charges in wake of the 4-year-old's death.
