Sean Dwyer, an assistant coach who has been on the same staff as former Cincinnati Bearcats head coach John Brannen at three different schools since 2011, was named an assistant on new Loyola Chicago head coach Drew Valentine's staff for the Ramblers, the team confirmed Tuesday via Twitter.
Dwyer has been an assistant at UC for the past two seasons. He was an assistant under Brannen for the Northern Kentucky University Norse the previous four seasons. And he worked as a video coordinator and then special assistant to the head coach with Brannen at Alabama for four seasons before that.
Dwyer was an assistant video coordinator at Florida for one season and video coordinator at Arkansas for a season before joining Brannen at Alabama.
UC parted ways with Brannen earlier this month, hiring UNC Greensboro head coach Wes Miller to replace him. Miller agreed late last week to a six-year, $7.875 million deal to be the Bearcats' head coach.
