Thunderdome partners with charity to provide meals for Cincinnati homeless

Ordering takeout from Thunderdome restaurants will not only help local businesses and workers, but also help feed the city's homeless.

Thunderdome Restaurant Group, the Cincinnati-based hospitality group known for The Eagle, Bakersfield, Pepp & Dolores, Currito and other area restaurants, is partnering with City Gospel Mission for the month of February.

The proceeds will be totaled at the end of the period and be used to deliver a hot meal to City Gospel Mission shelter guests in early March, according to a press release. Customers who order online will also be able to donate a meal.

“We have felt so incredibly fortunate this past year to receive the love and support of our community during these difficult times,” Joe Lanni, Thunderdome Restaurant Group co-founder, said in a press release. “We really wanted to find a way to give back to our community by doing what we do best, feeding people.”
