UFC heavyweight champion and Cleveland-area native Stipe Miocic discussed the toughness of people from Ohio during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show with the former Indianapolis Colts punter as well as Dayton-area native and former Ohio State Buckeyes star (and Cincinnati Bengals linebacker) A.J. Hawk, and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow retweeted the video clip from the show with his endorsement.
Miocic is a Cleveland Browns fan, but Burrow - who has tweeted previously about UFC - agreed with what Miocic had to say about Ohio natives:
Newly rehired Bengals offensive line coach Frank Pollack told The Enquirer's Tyler Dragon last week that keeping Burrow standing upright and off injured reserve is priority No. 1 for Pollack's unit.
Burrow said earlier this month that he's ahead of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery and "very confident" he'll be ready to go for the Bengals for Week 1 of next season.
