Nick Eason, the Cincinnati Bengals' defensive line coach for the past two seasons, was named Wednesday as the Auburn University Tigers' defensive line coach, the school announced via Twitter.
Eason was one of several members of Bengals head coach Zac Taylor's staff not retained after the 2020 season.
Earlier this month, the Bengals named Marion Hobby their new defensive line coach.
Eason replaces former University of Cincinnati Bearcats defensive line coach Tracy Rocker, who joined Auburn's staff earlier this month but left just days later to become the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive line coach.
Rocker was South Carolina's defensive line coach this past season. He was on Rick Minter's staff at UC in 2002.
