Former Cincinnati Bengals running back and kick returner Eric Bieniemy, the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator for three seasons, completed a virtual interview Monday for the Atlanta Falcons' head coaching vacancy, the team announced.
Detroit Lions president Rod Wood said Tuesday that the team interviewed Bieniemy - as well as former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis - for its head coaching vacancy.
And the New York Jets announced Wednesday that they've completed an interview with Bieniemy.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday that the Jacksonville Jaguars would interview Bieniemy on Wednesday for their head coaching vacancy:
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Monday night that the Los Angeles Chargers requested an interview with Bieniemy:
Bieniemy played for the Bengals from 1995 to 1998. He became the Chiefs' offensive coordinator in Jan. 2018 after coaching the team's running backs for five seasons.
