
Taylor Swift released her highly anticipated re-recorded Speak Now (Taylor's Version) Friday.The album is a re-recording of her third studio album Speak Now which was originally released in 2010. The re-recording is part of the singer's action to own her music following a masters dispute in 2019.The singer first announced the album was coming on May 5, while performing in Nashville on the Eras Tour.In Cincinnati last weekend, Swift started Saturday night's surprise set list with "Ivy," which features Cincinnati native and "The National" musician Aaron Dessner. Dessner joined Swift on stage for the song, which had never been performed live before Saturday night.Dessner is also listed as a co-producer on three songs categorized as "From the Vault" in the new Speak Now album: Electric Touch which features Fall Out Boy, When Emma Falls in Love and Foolish One. While her surprise songs are usually ones she wrote, Swift called up opening act Gracie Abrams to perform Abrams' song, "I Miss You, I'm Sorry." This marked the first song Swift has performed that is not her own.She ended the surprise song set with "Call It What You Want" on the piano.
