The National Weather Service says strong to severe storms are likely Sunday in the afternoon and early in the night.
Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats but a tornado cannot be ruled out, the weather service said in an alert for Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 67.
Sunday will be partly sunny during the day with a high near 90, with temperatures dropping to a low around 68 at night. There’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. that will increase to 90% before 11pm. This is when the severe weather could materialize.
Here’s what the weather service says is in store for the upcoming week:
Monday will be mostly cloudy during the day and night with a high near 80 and a low around 64. A 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day will drop to 60% at night.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy during the day with a high near 75 and a 50% chance of showers, with thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m. It will be breezy at night with a low around 57.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny during the day with a high near 80 and partly cloudy at night with a low around 58.
Thursday will be mostly sunny during the day with a high near 85 and partly cloudy at night with a low around 63 and a 30% chance of showers.
Friday will be mostly sunny during the day with a high near 89 and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy at night with a low around 66 and a 40% showers and thunderstorms.
Saturday will be partly sunny during the day with a high near 90 and a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
