Weekend weather planner: Enjoy sunny, dry conditions before rain returns
FIRE SMOKES COMING DOWN FROM PARTS OF CANADA BY THE WEEKEND, THOUGH, CONTENT GOING TO LOOK GREAT WILL CLIMB A LITTLE BIT MORE BACK INTO THE MID 80S. BUT AS I MENTIONED, KEEPING THAT LOW HUMIDITY AROUND IN THE FORECAST. AND THEN BY NEXT WEEK WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MORE RAINFALL, SEASONAL TEMPERATURES, SOME HUMIDITY RETURNING, BUT IT’S MUCH NEEDED RAIN THAT WE ARE STILL NEEDING EVEN AFTER A LITTLE BIT OF THAT RAIN THAT WE SAW YESTERDAY AND THROUGH THE PAST FEW DAYS, OUR DROUGHT CONDITIONS ARE STILL PERSISTING. RADAR SWEEP THIS MORNING NOT REALLY SHOWING MUCH OUT THERE. WE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY PARTS OF THIS MORNING. WHILE MANY OF US WERE ASLEEP, MOST OF THAT NOW OFF TO OUR EAST, OUT INTO PARTS OF WEST VIRGINIA AND INTO PENNSYLVANIA. AS WE LOOK AHEAD, THOUGH, THIS FRONT CONTINUING TO DROP DOWN. AND AS I MENTIONED, IT IS BRINGING DOWN SOME OF THAT WILDFIRE SMOKE, NOT THE SAME FIRES THAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE UP IN QUEBEC. BUT THESE ARE MORE INTO PARTS OF CENTRAL CANADA, AND THAT IS BRINGING DOWN SOME SOME SOME OF THAT SMOKE INTO OUR REGION, PROVIDING SOME WORSE AIR QUALITY ISSUES, BUT NOT AS BAD AS WHAT WE DEALT WITH BEFORE. SO AS WE LOOK AT FUTURE CAST, THIS COLD FRONT COULD BRING IN A FEW MORE ISOLATED SHOWERS THIS MORNING. BUT OVERALL, WE ARE LOOKING AT DRIER CONDITIONS THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING AND IN THROUGH THE AFTERNOON WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS, MAYBE A FEW RAIN CHANCES FOR CLINTON PARTS OF HIGHLAND COUNTY AS WE GO THROUGH TODAY. THIS MORNING, TEMPERATURES STARTING OUT THE DAY IN THE MID TO UPPER 50S, LOWER 60S AND WE’LL COOL THESE TEMPERATURES DOWN JUST A FEW MORE DEGREES AS WE GET TO SUNRISE. WE’LL START OUT IN THE UPPER 50S AND REALLY STAY IN THROUGH THE LOWER 60S THROUGH LATE THIS MORNING AND THEN INTO THE MID 60S AS WE HEAD INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SO ANY DAY CAMPS OUT THERE WILL BE INTO THE LOWER 70S. AND THEN FOR ANY EVENING YOUTH GAMES WE’RE TALKING MID 70S AND THAT IS ABOUT THE SAME FOR THE EVENTS AS WELL. WE HAVE THE CINCINNATI FOOD TRUCK ASSOCIATION FOOD FEST HAPPENING AT SUMMIT SUMMIT PARK IN BLUE ASH MIDST UPPER 60S TO START OUT AT 11 A.M. AS WE WORK OUR WAY THROUGH THE EVENING FOR ANY DINNER PLANS. IF YOU’RE HEADING OUT THERE, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT THOSE MID 70S AND THEN STAYING MILD AS WE HEAD INTO TONIGHT AS WELL. IT’S GOING TO WRAP UP AROUND 10 P.M. SO GREAT WEATHER OUT THERE FOR THAT FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL. A GREAT TIME. A LOT OF GREAT FOOD THERE IN BLUE ASH AT SUMMIT PARK. AS YOU LOOK AT YOUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST, I MENTIONED THAT WEEKEND WITH THE MID 80S AROUND FOR YOUR FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND, SLIGHTLY WARMER THERE ON SUNDAY. AND THEN AS WE HEAD INTO NEXT WEEK, WE’LL KEEP 80S MID 80S AROUND IN THE FORECAST BUT WE’LL ALSO BE DEALING WITH DAILY POP UP STORM CHANCES AND SCATTERED STOR
