CINCINNATI (WKRC) - An Avondale man accused of stabbing another man to death appeared in court Monday. Falonzo Boyd is charged with murdering Darrin Ferguson, 31.
Emergency crews were called to the Alaska Avenue Apartments Friday night.
Assistant prosecutor David Wood said Ferguson punched Boyd, so Boyd went inside and got a knife. When he returned, Wood said Boyd stabbed Ferguson multiple times.
Ferguson was rushed to the hospital but he died from his injuries.
Boyd's attorney said his client disputes the allegations. He said Boyd will show up for his court dates because he's looking forward to vindication.
A judge set Boyd's bond at $500,000.
