Some of the best golf players in the world have traveled to Georgia this week for the 2023 Masters at Augusta National.
The Masters Tournament is the first major of the 2023 PGA Tour season and one of the biggest events in golf, where players will compete to win the tournament and, of course, the famous green jacket.

When is the 2023 Masters Tournament?
The Masters is always scheduled during the first full week in April.
The pre-tournament began Monday, April 3, and will last through Wednesday, April 5. The Masters Tournament itself will run from Thursday, April 6, through Sunday, April 9.
Here's the full tournament schedule:
- Monday, April 3, pre-tournament: Gates open at 8 a.m. ET and close 30 minutes after play.
- Tuesday, April 4, pre-tournament: Gates open at 8 a.m. ET and close 30 minutes after play.
- Wednesday, April 5, pre-tournament: Gates open at 8 a.m. Par 3 Contest starts at noon and gates close 30 minutes after play.
- Thursday, April 6, round 1: Gates open at 7:30 a.m. ET and close 30 minutes after play.
- Friday, April 7, round 2: Gates open at 8 a.m. ET and close 30 minutes after play.
- Saturday, April 8, round 3: Gates open at 8 a.m. ET and close 30 minutes after play.
- Sunday, April 9, round 4 (final): Gates open at 8 a.m. ET and close 30 minutes after the Presentation Ceremony.
When is the Par 3 Contest?
The Par 3 Contest is on Wednesday, April 5.
If you're attending in person, gates will open at 8 a.m. and the Par 3 Contest will start at noon.
It will also be broadcast on ESPN from 3-5 p.m. ET, the Masters.com website and the Masters app from noon to 5 p.m. ET.
Where is the Masters Tournament played?
The Masters is played at the iconic Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, where it has been since 1934. Out of the four major men's championships, it is the only one always played on the same course.

How to watch the 2023 Masters Tournament
Weekday and weekend coverage for the Masters will be split between ESPN and CBS.
The first round on Thursday, April 6, and the second round on Friday, April 7, will be on ESPN at 3-7:30 p.m. ET. For early coverage on both days, Masters.com and the Masters app will offer streaming coverage of featured groups, Amen Corner and select holes.
The third round on Saturday, April 8, will be on CBS from 3-7 p.m. ET. The final round on Sunday, April 9, will also be on CBS, from 2-7 p.m. ET.
