Cincinnati Reds Opening Day starter Hunter Greene topped 100 miles per hour many times during his first outing of the season, which lasted just 3 1/3 innings and 83 pitches.

But did he really throw one pitch 105?

That's what fans were asking in the 3rd inning Thursday when Statcast showed his 1-2 pitch to Andrew McCutchen, a ball, was thrown 105.2 mph.

Statcast took it down a short time later, apparently acknowledging an error. But not before some great reactions, during the Bally Sports Ohio broadcast and on social media.

"Was that number right? Did that say 105?! Is that right?!" play-by-play broadcaster John Sadak said.
