The No. 3 Xavier Musketeers are in the second round of the NCAA Tournament after beating Kennesaw State 72-67 Friday, and will face a familiar foe for head coach Sean Miller.
The No. 11 Pittsburgh Panthers will tip it up against the Musketeers Sunday at 12:10 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum on CBS. Pitt is Miller's alma mater, where he played in the NCAA Tournament. Sunday's game will be broadcast by Ian Eagle, Jim Sparnakel, and Evan Washburn. Byron Larkin and Joe Sunderman will have the radio call on 700WLW-AM.
Pitt won a play-in game on Tuesday over Mississippi State and followed it up by thrashing Iowa State on Saturday, 59-41.
Sunday's winner will advance to next weekend's Sweet 16 in Kansas City, Missouri.
