The Cincinnati Reds' chess-playing first baseman knows how to dress to impress.
Joey Votto shared posts on social media this week of a trip to the Annex Chess Club in his hometown of Toronto, Canada, where he has been competing in tournaments during the Reds' offseason.

The six-time All-Star has shared posts from the chess club before, but what made this visit special was his designer outfit. Votto posted a slow motion video of himself arriving at the club dressed in head-to-toe Gucci.
"Do not play with my chess," he captioned one post.
Votto competed in his first over the-board chess tournament at Annex Chess Club in November, according to an earlier Instagram post.
The 39-year-old is still recovering from a season-ending shoulder injury, which he underwent surgery for in August. In January, Votto said he's unsure if he'll be ready to participate in Reds spring training, which starts later this month.
