Zach Grant to be Cincinnati football’s GM of personnel for Bearcats

Several reports have new University of Cincinnati head football coach Scott Satterfield on the verge of adding a general manager for player personnel. Both John Brice of FootballScoop.com and On3.com's Matt Zenitz are reporting the Bearcats will add Ohio State's Zach Grant to the position.

Grant is not yet 30 and was named Football Scoop's Player Personnel Director of the Year for his work in 2021 with Western Kentucky. At Ohio State for just one season, he's been under Associate Athletic Director/General Manager of Personnel Mark Pantoni with the Buckeyes who just finished with another top-five recruiting class.

The Buckeyes play No. 1 Georgia on New Year's Eve in the Chic-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Grant was part of the crew that recruited locals Jermaine Mathews Jr. of Winton Woods and Malik Hartford of Lakota West, who signed with Ohio State Wednesday.
