Could Bengals-Steelers game be flexed out of Sunday Night Football?

Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase #1 of the Cincinnati Bengals jumps while attempting to avoid safety Minkah Fitzpatrick #39 of the Pittsburgh Steelers during the first half at Paul Brown Stadium on September 11, 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Cincinnati Bengals entered this season with two scheduled Sunday Night Football games, both against AFC North rivals.

The Bengals lost to the Ravens in Baltimore in Week 5, and they're scheduled to face the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 11 on Nov. 20.

But with the Bengals 5-4 and the Steelers 2-6 through Week 9, their Week 11 meeting could be flexed out of Sunday night. The deadline to flex a different game into Sunday Night Football - and flex Bengals-Steelers out - would be Tuesday (Nov. 8).

Week 11 matchups that aren't scheduled to be played in primetime (as of now) include the 6-2 Dallas Cowboys visiting the 7-1 Minnesota Vikings, and the 6-2 Kansas City Chiefs facing the Chargers (5-3) in Los Angeles.

Cincinnati lost its season-opener to Pittsburgh at Paycor Stadium.
