CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A few dozen people protested at Cincinnati City Hall Friday as part of a worldwide effort called the Climate Strike.
While the Climate Strike was organized by young people in the area, people of all ages protested.
They're pushing for passage of legislation like the Green New Deal and against what they say is government inaction on one of the greatest political challenges of our generation.
The protest kicks off a week of climate-related events being put on locally and across the world.
The global protests come ahead of the U.N. Climate Summit, which starts Monday.
