Officials are searching for a person who escaped custody after a traffic stop Tuesday night in Clermont County.According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, officers stopped Christian VanWinkle of Ripley, Ohio around 7:45 p.m. Once they confirmed his identity, they took him into custody on outstanding warrants.While transporting him, VanWinkle escaped from the vehicle and fled on foot.He was seen near Mercy Health Clermont Hospital before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.The vehicle was later recovered but VanWinkle was not inside. Anyone with information can call the Clermont County Sheriff's Office.
