After two plate appearances and running down a few balls in center field, Nick Senzel left Sunday’s series finale against the Chicago Cubs in the fourth inning with right hamstring tightness.
"He may not start (Monday), but it didn’t sound too serious," Cincinnati Reds Manager David Bell said. "I think it was a good move getting him out when we did, but he should be fine."

Senzel struck out in the first inning and drew a seven-pitch walk in the second inning. After his walk, he advanced to third base on a single to left field.
He backed up right fielder Aristides Aquino on a double in the fourth inning, chased a homer to center and fielded a single before he was removed in the bottom half of the inning. Alejo Lopez pinch-hit for Senzel and played left field.
The Reds won, 8-5.
"I don’t know if it was a gradual thing that happened all day," Bell said. "I don’t think it was on one particular play. It just kind of tightened up as the game went on."
Senzel spent a little more than two weeks on the COVID-related injured list in May and he missed three games in June with a low back strain. He’s hitting .243 in 84 games with 11 doubles, three homers and 18 RBI.
