MLB Network's Harold Reynolds predicted that Reds infielder Jonathan India will have a big, memorable moment during Thursday's MLB at Field of Dreams game against the Chicago Cubs in Dyersville, Iowa.
Why? Because India acknowledged that he hasn't seen the movie.
"I'm not saying the Reds are gonna win with a walk-off," Reynolds said Wednesday night, "but I am saying last year's Rookie of the Year, Jonathan India, is gonna have the big moment. You know why? He admitted he's never seen the movie 'Field of Dreams.' Jonathan - c'mon, what? I guarantee you when he's riding in here like we do … on the bus they'll be on, because they're all gonna turn their phones off. And he's gonna come riding through the cornfields. And he's gonna go, 'Oh, I'm starting to understand what you guys were talking about.' Then he's gonna walk through the cornfields when he's announced. And I'm telling you - he will tune it up, he's gonna have an amazing night. He might have to (watch the movie) now."

Reds first baseman Joey Votto tweeted Wednesday night that he "was raised on" the movie and will watch it again before Thursday's game. The Enquirer's Bobby Nightengale wrote Wednesday that Votto, who will be miked up during the game, was thinking about his late father as he prepared for it.
In June, rookie pitcher Hunter Greene said he planned to watch the movie again ahead of the Reds' trip to Iowa.
