COURTIS: A FIRE AT A HOME ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET, THREE PEOPLE TRAPPED INSIDE, SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS RESPONDING. FAIRFAX AND MARIEMONT POLICE ARE FIRST TO ARRIVE ON THE SCENE. >> OVER HERE. YOU CAN SEE HIM RACING TOWARD THE FIRE ALONG WITH MARIEMONT POLICE OFFICERS RACHEL HAYES AND ADAM JARRACIE. >> THEY WENT TO THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. THERE WAS A FEMALE AT THE BACK WINDOW AND THEY ACTUALLY FROM THE BODY CAMERA FOOTAGE, .TGO HER OUT OF THE BACK WINDOW AND -- OF THE HOUSE. COURTIS: FAIRFAX POLICE CHIEF JEFF BRONSON SAID YOU CAN’T OVERSTATE IT, THEY PUT THEIR OWN LIVES ON THE LINE TO SAVE OTHE.RS >> IT IS DEFINITELY THE REALITY OF IT. IT WAS A VERY CHAOTIC SCENE. THERE’S A COUPLE BYSTANDERS THAT WERE THERE ALSO ANOTRHE INDIVIDUAL WHO WE HA NVE IDENTIFIED YET DURING THE DURING -- DURING THE SCENE. I DON’T BELIEVE WE GOT ANY NAMES, BUT WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR THAT INDIVIDUAL THAT ASSISTED. COURTIS: THE WOMAN, HER HUSBAND AND ANOTHER ADULT MALE RELATIVE WERE ALL TAKEN TO UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, THE STATE FIRE MARALSH IS INVESTIGATING. >> IT IS NOT ONE OF THOSE THINGS YOU THINK ABOUT. Coroner: Second man hospitalized in January Fairfax fire dies


A man who was hospitalized following a January fire on Watterson Road in Fairfax has died.According to Wednesday morning's coroner's report, 75-year-old Ron Wood died following the Jan. 19 fire on Watterson Road that hospitalized three people in critical condition.Wood is the second person to die from the fire. 71-year-old Thomas Wood died from injuries he sustained from the fire a few days later, on Jan. 24.It has not yet been determined what caused the fire.

A man who was hospitalized following a January fire on Watterson Road in Fairfax has died.
