Hamilton High names Arvie Crouch of Mount Healthy as football coach

Hamilton City Schools announced Arvie Crouch as the next head football coach of the Big Blue football program, pending board approval.

Athletic director Melissa Harvey sent out the following release Friday morning:

Coach Crouch brings a wealth of experience and a tremendous amount of knowledge to Hamilton High School Football, having coached in Hamilton from 1993 to 2008.  Crouch has 29 years of coaching experience and 13 years of head coaching experience, compiling an impressive 95-48 record overall.

Crouch has been the head coach in Mount Healthy from 2009 to 2021, where he has led his teams to four undefeated Conference Championships and five total Conference Championships in the SWOC, with two additional conference championships during Mount Healthy’s affiliation in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference.

Coach Crouch has also been a four-time Southwest Ohio Conference Coach of the Year and two-time FAVC Coach of the year. Arvie’s passion for the city of Hamilton and Hamilton High School, along with his track record of success and leadership, leaves little doubt that he will immediately provide a positive impact on the Hamilton football program. Big Blue football is fortunate to have coach Crouch leading the program for many years to come.
