A man has died from his injuries after being rescued from a house fire in Fairfax.The fire started around 10:50 p.m. Wednesday on Watterson Road at a home with three people inside. Officers arriving first on the scene rescued one woman who was confined to a wheelchair from a window of the home.Body camera footage shows Officer Caleb Kaminsky rescuing the woman from the house, taking her across the street to get medical attention.Fire crews rescued two others from the home.All three were taken to the hospital.One of the victims, identified as 71-year-old Thomas Wood, died from his injuries on Friday, according to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. Officials said last week the other two victims were expected to be treated and released. "It was a very chaotic scene. It was an active fire and fire personnel were not there yet so officers took action and did what they had to do," Jeff Bronson, Fairfax PD Chief, said.The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
