Junior tight end Josh Whyle, who has played for the Cincinnati Bearcats for three seasons since starring at La Salle High School, announced that he will return to UC for the 2022 season.
Whyle, who had 26 catches for 332 yards with six touchdowns last season is expected to be one of the top prospects at tight end in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Starting left guard Jeremy Cooper, left tackle James Tunstall, tight end Lenny Taylor, defensive linemen Jabari Taylor and Malik Vann, linebacker Wilson Huber and starting safety Ja'Von Hicks also have announced they will return to the Bearcats next season.
Earlier this month, quarterback Desmond Ridder, cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, defensive end Myjai Sanders, wide receiver Alec Pierce and running back Jerome Ford all declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.
