The city of Cincinnati is expanding COVID-19 test sites due to rising cases and demand.City leaders announced a partnership with multiple local organizations and agencies to open new test sites offering free COVID-19 tests.It comes as Cincinnati sees a surge in COVID-19 cases. As of Thursday, the city has 49,905 cases and 160 people currently in the hospital with COVID-19. The seven-day cumulative new cases is 1,521 cases per 100,000 people which is classified as a high transmission rate, according to the Cincinnati Health Department COVID-19 dashboard.The rising cases have put a strain on current test sites as well as those trying to get a test.
