Ken Griffey Jr. would be great on MLB ‘Manningcast’

ESPN is considering a "Manningcast"-type Major League Baseball broadcast for Alex Rodriguez - similar to what Peyton and Eli Manning have done this season on "Monday Night Football" - for its "Sunday Night Baseball" broadcasts, according to reports from the New York Post and others.

But Cincinnati Bengals and Bearcats radio play-by-play announcer Dan Hoard, also the former radio voice of Minor League Baseball's Syracuse Chiefs and Pawtucket Red Sox, tweeted Thursday that he believes former Moeller High School standout and National Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. - inducted in 2014 into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame - would be the person to do an MLB "Manningcast," though he wouldn't necessarily have interest:
