It's finally official, Bearcat fans. Graeter's Ice Cream is adding "Boldly Bearcat" to its permanent menu.
The Cincinnati-based ice cream company first teased the return of the flavor in December, just after the University of Cincinnati Bearcats qualified for the College Football Playoffs. They will play the University of Alabama in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Eve.
But as of Dec. 26, it's now a fixture on the regular menu.
Boldly Bearcat was typically a limited seasonal flavor, only available during January and February. Seasonal flavors currently available include Eggnog, available in December, and Chocolate Coconut Almond Chocolate Chip, available in January and February.
The Boldly Bearcat flavor is described by Graeter's as "a creamy mascarpone ice cream, filled with Oreo cookies and our signature chocolate chips."
