More than 100 first responder vehicles paraded through the streets of Cincinnati to spread some holiday cheer.A procession of police and fire vehicles turned on their lights and drove past Cincinnati Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital.This was all part of a statewide effort called Operation Santa Sleigh. Police said Thursday night's ride was all about giving families a sense of holiday spirit."There are some ones that have to spend their Christmas in the hospital. So we in our law enforcement community and our fire community are just coming together just to show hey, you still have support even through these difficult times," said Sgt. Anthony Mitchell.In all, we're told 21 fire and 110 police vehicles completed the procession. Departments from all across Greater Cincinnati joined in.
