Cincinnati Bengals rookie kicker Evan McPherson tied a 51-year-old franchise record with his fourth field goal of the season of more than 50 yards - a career-long 54-yarder during the first quarter to give the Bengals their first score of Sunday's 32-13 win against the Raiders in Las Vegas.
He broke the franchise record held by Horst Mühlmann, who made four field goals of 50+ yards for Cincinnati in 1970, with his 53-yard field goal during the third quarter - his fifth of 50+ yards. He added a 51-yarder - his sixth of the season from 50+ - during the fourth quarter Sunday.
McPherson also tied an NFL record with three 50+-yard field goals in one game.
McPherson's fourth field goal of the game - with 1:09 left - was a 47-yarder.
McPherson's only miss in seven attempts this season from more than 50 yards was a 57-yard try in an overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers.
