UC Bearcats score on first offensive play against SMU

There's nothing like a one-play, 53-yard scoring drive the first time your offense touches the ball.

The Cincinnati Bearcats didn't waste any time putting points on the scoreboard Saturday against the SMU Mustangs, finding the end zone on a 53-yard passing play from quarterback Desmond Ridder to receiver Tyler Scott to give UC an early 7-0 lead at Nippert Stadium in a 48-14 win.
