Actor and writer Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard on the Apple TV+ sitcom "Ted Lasso" and co-created the show with co-star Jason Sudeikis, praised Cincinnati's TQL Stadium in a video shared Friday night via Twitter as Hunt took in the U.S. Men's National Team's 2-0 win against Mexico.
"So I actually haven't been to that many U.S. home matches," Hunt said in the video. "In fact, I've never been to a U.S. home match. I've been to games in other countries and I've been to a neutral-venue match here in America. So here in Cincinnati is my first proper U.S.A. home match. And I gotta tell ya: This stadium is pretty great! It reminds me of when I saw them play in Kaiserslautern (Germany) in 2006. So, good job FC Cincinnati! U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A."
