A second woman in about 19 months has reported being attacked while exercising in Mount Airy Forest.
From the suspect sketches circulated by Cincinnati police, it looks like the police are seeking the same man in both incidents.
Police said in a Tweet on Wednesday that they are trying to find a man that a woman says grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground, injuring her, as she was walking a trail in the 4600 block of Shepherd Road on Sept. 30.
Officers released a sketch of the suspect that is the same sketch they released last year in another incident. In the March 12, 2020, incident, a woman said she was running in the park at about 4 p.m. when a man attacked her near the Oak Ridge Lodge.
That man is wanted for felonious assault and gross sexual imposition.
He was described then as a man in his 30s between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with light brown hair in a short ponytail and blue/grey eyes.
He had a jagged scar on the inside of his right wrist and a possible dog bite.
He was wearing a long-sleeved, black T-shirt with "Precision" written on the front, blue jeans, brown work boots and a camouflage silicone wedding band.
Cincinnati police ask anyone with information about the suspect to call 513-569-8588.
The Enquirer has reached out to the police about the possible connection between the two attacks.
