Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Sunday's winning game against Baltimore.The Bengals improved their record 5-2 with the impressive 41-17 win against division rivals, the Baltimore Ravens.Chase exploded for a career day, catching eight passes for 201 yards and a touchdown for a Bengals rookie-record.His receiving yardage total was the highest in the AFC so far this season, and his 82-yard TD in the third quarter was the longest pass play of the year in the AFC. Chase’s 754 receiving yards currently lead the AFC and rank as the most ever by an NFL player through his first seven games. This is Chase’s first AFC Player of the Week award, however he did win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for September. Chase is the third Bengal this season to win an AFC Player of the Week award, joining rookie K Evan McPherson (special teams, Week 1) and QB Joe Burrow (offense, Week 4). This win now moves the Cincinnati Bengals into first place in the AFC North.
