Sharonville-based brewery and taproom Third Eye Brewing Company is opening a new location in Hamilton. The brewery, which opened its doors at 11276 Chester Road two years ago, is one of several new developments coming to the area.
Third Eye Brewing will take over the former Pepsi plant on Ohio 4. The 27,000-square-foot building will include a taproom and full kitchen and will allow the company to increase its brewery production from 2,000 to 10,000 barrels.
The space will also have room for large-scale barrel aging, as well as a covered patio and private event area.

The estimated cost of the development is $3.1 million. Third Eye hopes to open the second location early next year.
"This building has the right blend of production and retail we were seeking," co-founder Tom Schaefer wrote in an email. "It doesn’t hurt that there are hundreds of millions of dollars being invested in Hamilton in the hospitality sector. This facility will have a much larger production area than the Sharonville location."
Third Eye is one of several new businesses planned for Hamilton. Schaefer says the Spooky Nook redevelopment at the former Cohen Recycling plant, which will include hotels, a grocery store and more, is currently the largest project, but there is a lot more coming to the area in the next few years.
