Samuel Adams will celebrate 25 years of brewing in Cincinnati this Friday, May 13, which is also 513 Day. To mark the milestone, the Samuel Adams Taproom in Over-the-Rhine will host a special event on Friday evening with giveaways, beer tasting, a chance to tour the Samuel Adams Brewery and an appearance by Cincinnati native and Sam Adams founder Jim Koch.
According to a press release, the taproom event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Attendees can enter to win three giveaways, including a grand prize "Willy Wonka"-style private tour of the Samuel Adams Cincinnati Brewery on Central Parkway with Koch at 7 p.m. Raffle prize winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m.
Ahead of the event, Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval will also proclaim Friday, May 13, as Sam Adams Day.
