Man charged in shooting outside Hyde Park Plaza Kroger back in custody on gun, drug charges

Man charged in shooting outside Hyde Park Plaza Kroger back in custody on gun, drug charges


The man charged in a shooting outside of a Kroger in Cincinnati's Hyde Park Plaza who bonded out of custody earlier this month is once again in custody.According to court documents, Kevion Howze, 23, has been arrested on multiple firearms and drug charges.Documents say Howze was in possession of an AR-15 and a Beretta semi-automatic pistol despite being under indictment for attempted murder.He is facing one charge of having weapons while under disability.Howze is also facing one drug possession charge and two drug trafficking charges after he was found to possess fentanyl and marijuana. A bond was originally set at $500,000 for his role in the March 25 shooting, but Howze filed a motion to see his bond be reduced on April 23 and it was later reduced to $100,00 at 10% on May 16 and he posted bond that day.
