First Joe Burrow, Tom Brady showdown set for Bengals-Bucs Dec. 18

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton (14) and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (12) shake hands after the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 15 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots at Paul Brown Stadium in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019. The Bengals continued on their path to the No. 1 draft pick with a 34-13 loss to the Patriots.

The Cincinnati Bengals' Week 15 game against the Buccaneers in Tampa on Dec. 18 could feature the first - and potentially only - meeting between Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. Eastern on CBS.

In February, Burrow appeared on the "Let's Go!" podcast Brady co-hosts with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald on SiriusXM, and Brady offered the Bengals' QB praise for leading Cincinnati to the Super Bowl in addition to advice.

Brady is 7-1 in the eight career games in which he's played against the Bengals, but he hasn't faced Cincinnati since 2019 - when he was still with the New England Patriots.

Alex Cappa, the Bucs' starting right guard the past three seasons, signed as a free agent with the Bengals in March.
