FC Cincinnati of MLS gets fourth win of 2022 before MLB’s 3-21 Reds

FC Cincinnati (4-5-1) earned its fourth win of the season on Wednesday night, matching its win total in 34 games last year.

The Cincinnati Reds (3-21) have played 24 games this season, and are still searching for win No. 4 after Wednesday's 18-4 loss to the Brewers in Milwaukee - their 19th loss in 20 games since starting 2-2.

The 1988 Baltimore Orioles are the only team in MLB's Modern Era with fewer than three wins through the first 24 games of a season. The 2003 Detroit Tigers are the only team other than this year's Reds to start a season 3-21.

"It's one of those nights that just nightmarish," Bally Sports Ohio analyst Chris Welsh said during Wednesday's broadcast. "Because it looks every bit as ugly as it is."
