The National Weather Service says above-normal temperatures will continue today with another round of showers and storms tonight.
A few strong to marginally severe storms may be possible, with gusty winds being the primary threat, it said in a hazardous weather outlook issued earlier today for Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
Today’s temperature is to top out near 88 and fall to around 59 tonight.
The chance of precipitation is 80% and could result in as much as a quarter inch of rain.

The weather service said drier air will arrive Monday and Tuesday, but several rounds of showers and storms are expected for the second half of the work week as more humid air moves into the Ohio Valley.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather Monday through Saturday, it said.
This week’s forecast:
Monday will bring an 80 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m., with a high near 76. The night will be mostly clear, with a low around 54.
Tuesday will be sunny during the day, with a high near 78. It will be partly cloudy at night, with a low around 56.
Wednesday will bring a 60% chance of showers during the day and night, with temperatures rising to a high near 75 and falling to a low around 63.
Thursday will bring a 40% chance of precipitation during the day in the form of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m., showers until 2 p.m. and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Temperatures will range from a high near 86 to a low around 68 at night, when there will be a 30% percent chance of thunderstorms before 8 p.m.
Friday will bring a 30% chance of showers during the day and night, with the temperature ranging from a high near 88 to a low around 66.
Saturday will be mostly sunny during the day with a high near 82, with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
