SAINT BERNARD POLICE TELL US THEY FOUND OFFICER ANTHONY ARMBRUSTER SLUNG OVER THE WHEEL OF A CAR ON TOWNSHIP AVENUE. THAT IS IN ELMWOOD PLACE ON FRIDAY IN SAINT BERNARD. POLICE MADE THAT ARREST BECAUSE OF A MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH ELMWOOD POLICE FORCE. NOW, ARMBRUSTER WAS OFF DUTY AT THE TIME HE IS NOW ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE. SAINT BERNARD P.D. IS HANDLING THE INVESTIGATION. TWO PEOPLE ARE DEAD.

A police officer from Elmwood Place was arrested Friday, accused of operating a vehicle while impaired.Saint Bernard police said they found officer Anthony Armbruster slumped over the wheel of a car on Township Avenue in Elmwood Place on Friday.Saint Bernard police made the arrest because of a mutual aid agreement with Elmwood's Police force. Armbruster was off-duty at the time. He is now on administrative leave.Saint Bernard police is handling the investigation.
