2 arrested, 1 hospitalized after Saturday night shooting in Fairfield Township


Two people have been arrested after a shooting late Saturday night in Fairfield Township.Fairfield police say officers responded to 6800 block of Paducah Drive around 11:25 p.m. Saturday night for a report of shots fired. Officials say a 25-year-old man sustained several gunshot wounds, and was transported in a private vehicle to Kettering Health Hamilton for treatment.Authorities say investigators arrested two people: Jacob Daniel Little, 19, and Virgil "Wayne" Davidson, 48.Little has been charged with felonious assault while Davidson has been charged with having weapons under disability.Both have been booked into the Butler County Jail, pending arraignment on their charges.Authorities say the victim remains hospitalized after undergoing overnight surgery for "several" gunshot wounds.
