Scattered Saturday Storms

Scattered storms and humidity are in the forecast today. It looks nicer by Sunday.

WHEN THAT HAPPENED. SO, YEAH, GOOD FOR THEM THAT THEY’RE GOING TO GET THERE. THEIR FIRE DEPARTMENT BACK. HOPEFULLY HOPE THAT WORKS OUT FOR THEM IS A LONG PROCESS. IT IS A LONG PROCESS, A 546 THIS MORNING, SATURDAY. TODAY’S GOING TO FEEL LIKE A LONG PROCESS BECAUSE THE BRAIN HERE INSIDE, YOU’RE JUST WAITING FOR IT TO GO BY. OH, I KNOW. YEAH. WE’LL HAVE ROUNDS OF THAT THROUGH THIS MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON. SO BUSY WEATHER DAY TODAY. WARM AND HUMID. IT’S NOT GOING TO BE HOT, BUT PRETTY STUFFY DAY OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. WE’RE SITTING UNDER SOME HUMIDITY HERE AND WE’VE GOT SUN AND CLOUDS IN SOUTH DEARBORN. SO STARTING TO SEE THE VERY FIRST LIGHT OF THE SUN RISE THERE. AND WE’LL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THOSE CLOUDS AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE NEXT HOUR, AN HOUR AND A HALF OF DEVELOPING SHOWERS AND STORMS TODAY. OUR RADAR SHOWS A BUSY SCENE UP TO THE NORTHWEST AND WE’RE STARTING TO SEE ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND EVEN A COUPLE OF THUNDERSTORMS POPPING UP AROUND RUSSELLVILLE. PLACES NORTH OF 74 HERE LOCALLY, PRETTY DRY. MAY HAVE A COUPLE OF SPRINKLES POPPING FROM OXFORD AS FAR SOUTH AS GEORGETOWN. SOME OF THAT IS GOING TO BE GROUND CLUTTER FROM THE RADAR THIS MORNING. BUT GET THE IDEA THAT THERE IS ACTIVE WEATHER DEVELOPING AND IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE CASE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. AND THAT’S BECAUSE OF LOW PRESSURE THAT’S APPROACHING FROM THE WEST HERE. SO YOU CAN SEE THUNDERSTORMS BACK TO THE SOUTHWEST. THOSE ARE GOING TO BE LIFTING INTO OUR AREA AS WE TOWARDS EIGHT, 9:00 THIS MORNING. COULD SEE SOME SHOWERS, EVEN A THUNDERSTORM OR TWO AS EARLY AS 7:00 THIS MORNING. SO FILLING THAT IN, WE’LL HAVE ADDITIONAL STORMS AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE AFTERNOON HOURS AND A COUPLE OF STORMS MAY BE ON THE STRONG SIDE WITH SOME GUSTY WINDS, MAYBE A LITTLE BIT OF HAIL. NOT TOO CONCERNED ABOUT AN OVERALL SEVERE THREAT TODAY. I WOULD SAY MORE DOWNPOURS WITH SOME HEAVY RAIN OR JUST THE AMPLE MOISTURE IN THE ATMOSPHERE TODAY. 83 DEGREES TODAY. WEATHER IMPACT DAY BECAUSE OF THE SCATTERED STORMS. SO IF YOU HAVE OUTDOOR PLANS, PROBABLY WANT TO THINK ABOUT A BACKUP MOVING THOSE INDOORS OR AT LEAST SOMEPLACE TO WAIT IT OUT BETWEEN ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AS YOUR FUTURE CAST WILL SHOW THE STORMS DEVELOPING AS WE HEAD TOWARD SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE. AND YOU CAN SEE HERE, I WOULD SAY BY 9:00, MORE OF SEEING SCATTERED STORMS AND LET’S SAY BETWEEN NOW AND ABOUT SEVEN, AS YOU HEAD TOWARDS MIDDAY HOURS TODAY, SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS, MAYBE A DOWNPOUR OR TWO, BUT A LITTLE BIT OF A BREAK, AT LEAST UNTIL ABOUT TO 3:00. AND THEN WE’LL HAVE SOME ADDITIONAL SHOWERS. STORMS DEVELOPING. IT’S NOT A REALLY NOT PICKING UP ON A WHOLE LOT. YESTERDAY, IT LOOKED LIKE A MORE ORGANIZED LINE, SOME TIME BETWEEN THREE AND 6:00 IN THE EVENING. I STILL THINK POSSIBLE. HERE AGAIN, OPPORTUNITIES FOR MORE ORGANIZED SHOWERS AND STORMS, SOME OF WHICH MAY HAVE SOME GUSTY WINDS. LATEST TO LAST THROUGH ABOUT 8:00. AND THEN WE WOULD HAVE HIT AND MISS STRAY SHOWERS, MAYBE AN ISOLATED THROUGH ABOUT MIDNIGHT BEFORE WE START TO DRY THINGS OUT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. EVEN A LITTLE BIT OF FOG, POSSIBLE IN THE VALLEYS BY SUNDAY MORNING, ESPECIALLY IN AREAS THAT GOT SOME RAINFALL TODAY. SO WATCHING THAT FOR THE FIRST PART OF SUNDAY. BUT NOTICE A LOT OF SUNSHINE IN THE FORECAST THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON TONIGHT WILL CLEAR THE CLOUDS OUT. STILL PRETTY HUMID OVERNIGHT. LOWS DROP TO 67 AND THEN FOR TOMORROW, 87 FOR THE HIGH, MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. A NICE PART ABOUT TOMORROW, WE’RE GOING TO HAVE LOWER HUMIDITY. HUMIDITY STARTS OUT YOUR SUNDAY. BUT AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE DAYTIME AND INTO THE EVENING, HOURS, CONTINUE TO DROP. SO WE’RE LOOKING AT LESS, LESS STICKY AIR AS WE CLOSE OUT OUR WEEKEND. SO A NICE NIGHT FOR MAYBE A GRILL OUT JUST TO KICK OFF THE NEW WORKWEEK OR EVEN JUST TO WALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. YOU’RE 70. FORECAST BRINGS ANOTHER WEATHER DAY FOR YOUR MONDAY. LIKELY STORMS ARE IN. THE FORECAST WILL BE PRETTY SCATTERED, BUT OFF AND ON STORMS THROUGH MONDAY, HIGH OF 83, PRETTY SEASONAL FOR TUESDAY, 85 CHANCE FOR A SHOWER OR TWO. THAT DAY, MAYBE A RUMBLE OF THUNDER. AND THEN FOR WEDNESDAY, SOME SCATTERED STORMS WILL HAVE ADDITIONAL STORMS. BY THURSDAY, COUPLE OF DAYS. THEIR COVERAGE DOESN’T LOOK QUITE AS HIGH AS WHAT WE’RE SEEING TODAY. AND THEN FOR FRIDAY DOES START TO DRY OUT. WE’LL GET BACK TO THE SUNSHINE. WE’LL B
