FORT THOMAS, Ky. — The northbound lanes of I-471 were shut down for hours beyond US-27 for a serious crash.
The southbound lanes are still being restricted, with heavy traffic in the area.
Fort Thomas police said officers were called to the crash at around 9:28 a.m. The northbound side of the highway was closed for hours, into the afternoon.
Police have not released any information about the crash that led to the highway shutdown, or whether anyone was hurt.
Fort Thomas police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash from either side of I-471 call Detective Wayne Dutle at 859.572.1239 or Detective Brandon Vance at 859.572.1226.
