Police identify man struck, killed by car in Green Township


An 85-year-old man is dead after being struck by a car Monday in Green Township. Officials say Dale Hines, 85, was struck by a car around 4 p.m. Monday in the 3400 block of West Fork Road, just outside of his home. Green Township police say Hines was not in a crosswalk when he was struck. Hines was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead Wednesday morning. The crash remains under investigation. Drugs, alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors, police say. Any witnesses are asked to call police.
