3 hospitalized after drive-by shooting in Cincinnati’s West End

UP, CALLING STEPHEN. KITTY, THANK YOU. WE’RE LIVE IN THE WAY OF BREAKING NEWS THIS MORNING. CINCINNATI POLICE TELL US THEIR INVESTIGATE ANOTHER DRIVE BY SHOOTING. THREE PEOPLE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL ON LINN STREET EARLY THIS MORNING. WELL, THE WITNESS FIVE’S DANIELLE DINDAK JOINS US LIVE FROM, U.S. MEDICAL CENTER WITH DETAILS. POLICE HAVE SHARED SO FAR AND HOW THESE PEOPLE ARE DOING. DANIELLE, GOOD MORNING, KELLY AND STEVE IN CINCINNATI. POLICE CONFIRM WITH US THAT ALL THREE OF THOSE PEOPLE WERE LIKELY TAKEN BEHIND ME. TO THE U.S., A MEDICAL CENTER. NOW, THAT SCENE FROM EARLIER THIS MORNING IS NOW CLEAR. BUT TAKE A LOOK AT THIS VIDEO, WHAT IT DID LOOK LIKE. SO AFTER ONE OFFICER OFFICERS RUSHED TO LYNCH STREET NEAR THE STANLEY ROAD TOWERS AND THE WEST END NEIGHBORHOOD, EVIDENCE MARKERS, THE STREET INVESTIGATORS FOUND 24 SHELL CASINGS. POLICE DID NOT SHARE MANY DETAILS WITH US ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED, BUT POLICE DID SAY THE VICTIMS INCLUDED A WOMAN IN HER FIFTIES, A MAN IN HIS THIRTIES AND ANOTHER MAN. OFFICERS, THEY FOUND THAT PERSON SEVERAL AWAY ON JONES STREET. NO WORD ON THE CONDITIONS OF THOSE PEOPLE. BUT WE DO KNOW THAT THE WOMAN WHO WAS SHOT WENT INTO SURGERY. NOW POLICE ALSO DID NOT RELEASE ANY ABOUT A SUSPECT OR ABOUT A POSSIBLE VEHICLE. NOW, LAST NIGHT’S OVERNIGHT DRIVE SHOOTING MARKS THE FIFTH DRIVE BY. Three people were taken to the hospital after a drive-by shooting in Cincinnati's West End.It happened around 1 a.m. when police responded to Linn Street near the Stanley Rowe Towers for a report of a shooting.Three people were taken to the hospital with injuries. Investigators marked off 24 shell casings in total.Police did not share many details with us about what happened but did say the victims included a 57-year-old woman, a 35-year-old man and a 38-year-old man. Officers say they found that person several blocks away on Jones Street.Police said all of their injuries are non-life-threatening. Police also say they don't have suspect information.It's the 5th drive-by that has been reported in greater Cincinnati in the last week.
