FC Cincinnati midfielder Luciano Acosta will captain the Major League Soccer All-Star team against English Premier League side Arsenal next week, the league announced Wednesday.In the first-ever fan vote for All-Star Game captain, Acosta beat out Roman Bürki of St. Louis CITY SC, Walker Zimmerman of Nashville SC and Christian Benteke of hosts D.C. United.Acosta, 29, is FCC's leading goal scorer this year, having netted 10 goals in 20 regular season appearances. This is the second time Acosta has been named to the All-Star squad and his inclusion last year marked the first All-Star nod in FCC's MLS history.Captain is a familiar role for the Argentine, who has held the position for the Orange and Blue a club-record 79 times.Acosta headlines three FCC players in this year's All-Star Game. The 2023 MLS All-Star Game will stream for free on Apple TV's MLS Season Pass.
